CMS Management

This section is all about organising and structuring how CMS is accessed by people who are going to manage the app. The different sections are explained below

Departments

Departments are segregation or the division of the organisation based on its composition.All CMS users and resources in different features are assigned a department each. CMS users can see resources belonging to their own department (only superadmins can see everything). The common examples are admin, accounts, finance, management, operations etc.

To add new department

  1. Go to CMS Management (at the top panel of the CMS)

  2. Select Departments

  3. Click on ‘Add Department’. You can enter the name of the department in different languages and click on 'Save'.

CMS Users

To add a new CMS user:

Step 1: Go to CMS Management and select CMS Users. Then click Invite a New User’

Step 3: Click on Invite User and a system generated mail will be sent to the concerned person. The mail will consist of the link to the CMS platform. The invited user can create their account and exercise the access defined

This section contains the list of people who have access to the CMS. You can add new users, deactivate existing users and can see the status of sent invitations. You can assign a new addition a department and user role based on the access rights. You can see more about user roles

Step 2: Enter the email address of the person to be invited, Define the (i.e. Superadmin, Admin or User) and then select the department to which he/she belongs.
